Who we are

On this site

• No cookies, and no advertising that follows you around.
• Visits are counted anonymously with Vercel Web Analytics: which page, which country, what kind of device. These numbers can't tell us who you are.
• If you write or call, we use your message only to answer you and, if we work together, for the contract and invoices. WhatsApp messages go through WhatsApp (Meta), e-mail through Google Workspace.

At an event with Ecrano

What we receive: the name and table you type, the photos and clips you send, and when they arrived.

What we do with them: every photo is checked automatically by an AI model (Google's Gemini) so that nothing inappropriate reaches the screen. It then appears on the venue's screen with your name and table. After the event it stays in the event's gallery, which opens only by link and isn't indexed by Google; the couple or hosts can download everything as one archive.

Why: because you chose to send the photo. You can ask us to take it down at any time.

On your phone, the page keeps a cookie with a random id, so it recognises you at your next photo, and one with your language. Your IP address is kept for an hour to stop abuse. Nothing for advertising.

Who is responsible: when a venue or a planner runs the event, they are the controller and we process the data on their behalf (processor). When a couple or a family bought Ecrano directly, we are.

How long we keep it

• An event's photos, clips, names and tables are deleted 12 months after the event.
• Sooner, if whoever bought the event asks.
• A single photo, at any time, if the person who sent it or someone in it asks.
• Invoices, as long as accounting law requires. A conversation that doesn't lead to working together is deleted within 2 years.

Where it is stored

Photos and data are stored in the European Union, in Frankfurt (Germany), with Vercel (hosting) and Upstash (database). The servers that process them and Google's AI check may run outside the EU, including in the US; those transfers are covered by the safeguards the GDPR requires (the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses).

We don't sell the data or give it to anyone else.

Your rights

You can ask to see your data, have it corrected, deleted or restricted, or receive it as a file, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to radu@ecranoevents.com; we answer within one month.

If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to ANSPDCP, Romania's data protection authority, or to the authority where you live (in the UK, the ICO).

If we change anything important, we update this page and the date at the top.
